The  functions of a paint booth

A paint booth is a professional device that decorates and repairs the surface of objects through technical treatment. It is mainly used for spraying and baking car paint, providing a clean operating environment and dealing with paint mist and exhaust gas. At the same time, it realizes the baking and curing after painting。

Classification and characteristics of paint baking rooms

Cross-flow paint booth: The airflow flows from one end of the booth to the other, which is low-cost and easy to install. However, the mist moves along the side of the vehicle body and cannot be effectively removed around the operator's face. The working environment is poor and the indoor paint temperature is unbalanced.

Side down-spray paint booth: It is a mid-range price model. The mist is far away from the vehicle body and can be removed from the operator's surroundings. The painting effect and working environment are both ideal.

The fully bottom-flush paint booth: It represents the advanced technology of today. Air enters from the ceiling and is discharged through the pit or basement. The painting process is clean and the working environment is safe, but it is costly and occupies a large space

Dry processing paint baking room: Widely used, it is necessary to regularly inspect and replace the filtration system (such as primary and secondary filter cotton), otherwise it may affect the quality of paint baking and even cause a fire.

Water treatment paint baking room: High-end products adopt it, which dissolves the excess paint mist in water, making the paint mist treatment method more advanced.

The sizes of different types of paint booths vary. For instance, the inner diameter of a certain spray booth is 20000×5000×5000mm (L×W×H), and the outer diameter is 20144×6896×5600mm (L×W×H). A standard car paint booth is generally taken as an example for small cars, with dimensions approximately of 7 meters in length × 4 meters in width × 3.2 meters in height

Walls and ceilings: The walls are often made of color steel plates of specific thicknesses, such as 70mm thick color steel plates with δ=0.5mm inside and outside, and filled with EPS inside. The top plates include single-layer iron sheet bent, galvanized top plates, etc. Some are also equipped with section steel reinforcing ribs and composite beams.

Door body: It includes single door, main door and working door, etc. The size of the main door is 4000×4500mm (W×H), and that of the working door is 650mm×1800mm (W×H). Color options are available
